Street Football Wales works closely with a large range of different organisations to deliver the strategic aims of the organisation to address people caught in social exclusion and isolation.  Without these partners in place, Street Football Wales would not be able to reach out to the many diverse communities in Wales.  ​

Our partners range from helping us achieve our corporate objectives such strategic business guidance, marketing and social media, to support organisations that provide sign posting from us and engaging players to partners that provide mental health support and other essential services to help those players who become involved with Street Football Wales. We have also partnered up with key football venues throughout Wales to help us deliver our football session.  ​

Homeless World Cup

 The Homeless World Cup works with a network of 74 organisations representing 74 nations around the world. Street Football Wales along with many of the other national partners have one thing in common where we use the power of football to help people who are homeless and socially disadvantaged. ​

Street Football Wales select the players who will represent Wales at the Homeless World Cup tournament held at different countries across the world every year.​

University of South Wales

The University of South Wales (USW) is one of the leading universities in Wales with the strategy aim to changing lives and our world for a better tomorrow. They aim to maximise positive impact for their students, partners, and communities.​

Street Football Wales have teamed up with USW to provide placement opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students to assist us with female coaching and graphic design students.​

Cardiff University

Cardiff University was founded in 1883 and is established as one of Britain's leading research universities. As part of the ‘Insight’ scheme that places undergraduate students into voluntary roles within industry, organisations and charities, we have teamed up with the university to help expand our external visibility and implement a social media strategy. We have already seen the impact their voluntary students have made to Street Football Wales with the integrated role out of our media presence. ​

Walking Football Wales

There are no barriers in turning up and playing football with us at Street football Wales. No matter what your age, your fitness, your situation or your background anyone can get involved with Street Football Wales. ​

In order to provide sport for all abilities, the fast pace play of Street Football may not suit everyone hence Street Football Wales has teamed up with Walking Football Wales  to allow players to choose a less impacting aspect of football. Equally, Walking Football Wales are able to sign post players that may prefer Street Football or to access our other partner organisations for their support services.

Porthcawl Town Spartans

Porthcawl Town Spartans are a mixed ability football club that thrive to bring out the confidence of all players with mixed abilities across the Bridgend area from the ages of 16+. Porthcawl Town Spartans have teamed up with Street Football Wales as a match day partner.​

Pobl

Pobl offer a wide range of care and support services to help people live independently across Wales. Pobl also provide homes and services to people in Wales.​ Pobl aim to help people get to where they want to be in life, they believe in people. Pobl provide accommodation, support, advice, volunteering, education, training and employment.​

As a key support organisation to Street Football Wales, by partnering up with Pobl allows us to sign post players in need of Pobl’s key services.

Llamau

Llamau is one of the leading homelessness Charites in Wales, supporting the most vulnerable young people and women. They are particularly well known for working with those most at risk - care leavers, people who have been involved with the criminal justice system, people who have experienced domestic abuse and people who have had chaotic and disadvantaged lifestyles. Street Football Wales has links with Llamau that allows players to be sign posted who are in need of Llamau’s support services.

The Wallich

The Wallich is one of Wales’ leading homeless charities who believe that everyone deserves the right to a home, but more than that, that everyone deserves the right to feel safe, to feel valued and to feel positive about their future. ​

The Wallich operates under three core objectives: getting people off the streets; keeping people off the streets; and creating opportunities for people. ​

Through Street Football Wales’ links with The Wallich, we are able to sign post players to the services provided by The Wallich where they can access support to address their needs.​

Cyfle Cymru

Cyfle Cymru help people affected by substance misuse and/or mental health conditions to gain the skills necessary to enter the world of work through peer mentors to develop confidence and provide support to access training, qualification and work experience.  ​

Street Football Wales have teamed up with Cyfle Cymru to provide those services to Gwent based players and Cyfle also hope to bring new players to participate in the Newport Street Football Sessions.

The Bootroom

The Boot room in a non-profit organisation that is working in Partnership with Street Football Wales to supply Boots for players who most need them. Carl Bradley at the Boot Room aims to remove all barriers from participation and does this by provided free football boots and kit. The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is a worldwide Christian church and registered charity, which has been fighting against social inequality and transforming lives for over 150 years.

We have built up links with many charities including the Salvation Army who regularly participate in the Street Football League game. The Salvation Army also bring players to participate in our training sessions in Cardiff.

Delivery Partners

 

Street Football Wales has partnered up with Merthyr Town FC community foundation and the Coalfields Regeneration Trust in collaboration with Game On to tackle social exclusion through the medium of football. Together we aim to deliver social inclusion football sessions to people in Merthyr Town. The project will be delivered at Merthyr Towns home ground of Penydarren Park.​
